The DP-700T00-A: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer course equips data professionals with the practical skills to implement robust data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Over four immersive days, participants will master the tools and techniques to ingest, transform, secure, and monitor data at scale—whether in real-time or batch mode.
The course begins with building ingestion pipelines using Dataflows Gen2, Spark notebooks, and event streams to handle various data sources such as databases, APIs, and files. Learners will implement medallion architecture patterns in Fabric Lakehouses, harness Apache Spark for large-scale data transformations, and work with Delta Lake tables.
You’ll explore Microsoft Fabric’s real-time intelligence capabilities, learning how to use Eventstreams and Eventhouses to support low-latency analytics and build real-time dashboards. In addition, participants will build and secure Fabric Data Warehouses, monitor data performance, and implement role-based access for enterprise security.
The course concludes with environment management strategies including CI/CD integration, monitoring, and data governance practices to ensure enterprise readiness. Prior experience with SQL, PySpark, or KQL is expected.
Ideal for data engineers ready to scale their infrastructure and streamline operations, this course also helps prepare for the Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification.
