The MS-700T00: Managing Microsoft Teams course is designed for IT professionals and administrators responsible for deploying, managing, and securing Microsoft Teams. Over four hands-on days, learners will explore every aspect of Teams management, from user roles and licensing to compliance, governance, meetings, apps, and calling features.
Participants will begin by understanding Teams architecture and its integration with Microsoft 365 workloads such as SharePoint, Exchange, and OneDrive. You'll configure policies for chat, meetings, and apps, manage Teams lifecycles, and optimize collaboration settings. You’ll also plan deployments, including transitions from Skype for Business, and prepare network infrastructure for Teams usage.
The course deep dives into security and compliance with hands-on labs on setting up DLP, eDiscovery, MFA, guest access policies, and information barriers. Additionally, participants will learn how to manage Microsoft Teams Rooms and certified devices, organize virtual events, and troubleshoot audio/video issues in calling scenarios.
By the end of the course, you'll be fully equipped to handle enterprise-scale Teams administration and will be prepared to take the Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate exam.
