In this course, you will gain a solid foundation in basic statistical concepts such as mean, median, mode, skewness, and kurtosis, and learn how to apply them effectively in real-world business scenarios. You will explore how to perform regression and clustering analyses to uncover patterns and relationships in data. The training will guide you through building forecasting models using techniques like linear regression, simple moving averages, and weighted averages.
You will also learn how to develop semantic models and use DAX in Power BI to calculate key statistical measures and build interactive visual reports. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) using slicers, filters, histograms, and scatterplots. Additionally, you’ll apply advanced DAX functions to create KPIs, implement ranking logic, and extract market basket and cohort insights.
The course will also teach you how to segment customer data using RFM and decile models, detect statistical signals using thresholds and confidence intervals, and automate insights through alert mechanisms. Finally, you will develop the ability to craft compelling data stories and design executive dashboards that align with business goals and drive strategic decision-making.
