Microsoft Is Launching Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate Certification Soon

Microsoft is preparing to introduce an Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate certification to its portfolio in mid-April. The Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate certification requires candidates to have subject matter experience in planning, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale data analytics solutions.


This role's responsibilities include cleaning and transforming data, developing and building enterprise data models, including advanced analytics capabilities, interfacing with IT infrastructure, and implementing development lifecycle techniques. These experts assist in gathering enterprise-level requirements for data analytics technologies such as Azure and Microsoft Power BI. They also guide data governance and configuration settings for Power BI administration and data usage monitoring and optimization.


Candidates should have advanced Power BI skills, including managing data repositories and data processing in the cloud and on-premises and using Power Query and Data Analysis Expressions, to apply for this certification (DAX). They should also be able to consume data from Azure Synapse Analytics and have previous experience querying relational databases, analyzing data with T-SQL, and visualizing data.


Exam DP-500: Designing and Implementing Enterprise-Scale Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Azure, which will be available in April 2022, is required for professionals interested in achieving this new certification.
